Of all the cities in the world I find New York to be one of the most stimulating.
It has the same effect on many people, of course, but this does not make it any less true. A recently published book reminded me of this: Andy Warhol’s New York City. See the review in the New York Times if you wish to know more about the book, in the meantime I encourage you to use it should you be taking a trip to New York in the future.
It is not essential for you to have a passion for art to enjoy it: the book provides excellent insights to rediscover New York, a city that too many people think they know well from completely different viewpoints. This is precisely one of the things I like most about the Big Apple, the fact that you never stop discovering it.
