Over the last few days, bad weather hit Veneto, creating deep wounds in the mountains I deeply care about.
The images of the woods uprooted by the bad weather’s fury made me feel upset and left me speechless. Seeing the trees swept away is a warning sign that should make us meditate on climate change and global warming, bringing these issues back at the centre of the international political scene.
I talked about it in a post on my Facebook page and from the comments it received I can see that is a thought that many of us share. We can stop global warming, but we must act now and do it together, with a serious and shared agenda. We must do it now for our children’s future and for our planet’s safety.
