As for the relationship between Finance and Industry, I think it is wrong to draw net differences between the two and to believe that Industry is the one in charge of the management, while finance is the one investing money.
Finance has to change and has to become a tool to generate value for everyone. At the same time, Industry has to start accepting foreign investments and to open up to new technologies. An evidence is provided by the stories of excellent firms opening up to new external partners, such as the organisation that 21 Investimenti has flanked in its business history.
