Olympic Games: in Rio, dreaming of Rome 2024

The torch bearers, the Flame… and then competitions, medals, podiums, efforts, tears, joy: with the Olympic games sports celebrates its highest moment. An incredible show in an extraordinary country: Brazil. An unmissable appointment for all the family every time celebrated with trepidation and excitement, all while cheering, advising, gathering more detailed information…

As far as I’m concerned, this year the event will take on a special meaning: I am honoured to be part of the Italian team of personalities backing the Rome 2024 Olympic bid. It’s a unique opportunity for our country that could materialise Rome’s (and Italy’s) desire to  turn over a new leaf. The Olympic games take sports to its maximum and most significative expression, it’s an extraordinary tool for social, cultural and urban growth. The bid is destined to gift us with a new perspective on development that we should fearlessly pursue, with optimism, courage and passion.

So let’s get ready to enjoy all the magic of Rio, while dreaming of Rome 2024. And indeed wishing the best of luck to the Italian Team: Forza Azzurri!
