A stark reminder that the Arab Spring is far from over
Only a few months ago Yasmine El Rashidi, the former Wall Street Journal correspondent, now resident in Cairo, provided us with a highly compelling eyewitness account of the Egyptian Revolution, from its origins through the fall of President Hosni Mubarak.
Her e-book – which is marked as a must read by the authoritative Council on Foreign Relations – was full of hope, yet recent developments tell us that… the Arab Spring is far from over. Yasmine’s post from Cairo brings us back to reality, in a chilling kind of way – Egypt: The Mayhem.
There is no better way to put it.
